Painted outside on location, this beautiful Sennen Cove art print captures the wild, open character of one of west Cornwall’s most special beaches. Holly Smith gives much of the composition to the sea, creating a wonderful sense of space and showing just how vast the water feels at Sennen.
Broad brushstrokes in sea green, turquoise, soft blue and grey move across the painting like waves gathering towards the shore. Small touches of yellow suggest sunlight breaking across the water, while the deep plum headland provides a strong contrast against the softer sea and pale, atmospheric sky.
