We are delighted to introduce our first collection of art prints by Cornwall-based artist Holly Cecilia Smith.

Holly’s paintings capture the coast as it feels in a particular moment: the movement of the sea, shifting weather, unexpected colour and the way familiar places can appear completely different from one day to the next. Painted outside on location, her work sits beautifully between observation and abstraction, evoking a special sense of place.

Broad, expressive brushstrokes bring energy and texture to each painting in this collection, while Holly’s thoughtful compositions and distinctive colours make them wonderful artworks to live with.

We love that you can return to them again and again, noticing a different mark, colour or detail each time.

About Holly

After studying in Munich and Karlsruhe and spending plenty of time exploring different landscapes, Holly now lives and works in Cornwall. The changing light, expansive coastline and movement of the sea provide continual inspiration for her painting and drawing.

Swimming, walking and spending time immersed in the Cornish landscape are central to Holly’s creative process. This close, sensory connection to the coast gives her work its wonderful sense of movement and atmosphere.
