Choosing the right size art prints can make all the difference to how the artwork feels in a room.

Portrait Art Print Sizes

We’ve shown our portrait print sizes together above the same xl sofa, so you can easily compare their scale in a living room.

Our portrait print sizes:

XS - 15 x 20cm
A4 – 21 × 29.7cm
30 × 40cm
A3 – 29.7 × 42cm
A2 – 42 × 59.4cm
45 × 60cm
60 × 80cm
A1 – 59.4 × 84cm

Our standard frames add approximately 3cm to the overall width and height of the stated print size. So, for example, a 45 × 60cm print measures approximately 48 × 63cm once framed.

Our most popular framed single-art size is 45 × 60cm, and natural wood is our most chosen frame finish.

Square prints are a simple way to add impact without needing a particularly wide wall.

Our standard frames add approximately 3cm to the overall width and height of the stated print size.

Styling tip: Square artwork works especially well above smaller pieces of furniture, on narrower walls, or grouped as a pair or set where you want a balanced, symmetrical look.

Choosing a Set of Prints?

When choosing a set of art prints, it helps to think about the overall size of the arrangement, rather than the size of each individual print. The frames and the space between them all add to the finished width.

Our set size guide below shows the total wall space needed for each of our print sizes, including the finished frame dimensions and our recommended spacing.

How to use the size guide

Each row shows the size of the individual print, its finished framed size, and the total wall space needed for a set of three.

The finished set width includes an 8cm gap between each frame, which is a good starting point for most arrangements.

If you prefer, you can bring smaller prints slightly closer together or give larger artwork a little more space.

Square sets

Square prints make a beautifully balanced set of three and work particularly well above beds and sofas.

Use the guide to see the finished width and height of the complete arrangement, including the frames and our suggested 8cm spacing.

For example, a set of three 50 × 50cm prints measures approximately 175cm wide once framed and spaced.
